(ARLINGTON, Va) – Today, the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) announced the appointment of Richard Rossi, Executive Vice President and President, U.S. Tower Division, American Tower, and Ronald Bizick, President and Chief Executive Officer, Vertical Bridge, to the WIA Board of Directors.
The appointments were made as part of a planned transition of Board seats from their respective organizations.
“We are pleased to welcome Ron and Rich to the Board,” said Patrick Halley, President and CEO, WIA. “They each bring a depth of knowledge and experience to the Board that will further strengthen WIA’s efforts to ensure the best regulatory and business environment for our members. I look forward to working with them.”
“I’m pleased to be joining the WIA Board of Directors,” said Rossi. “I look forward to contributing to WIA’s mission of ensuring connectivity everywhere as WIA presses forward with critical advocacy on behalf of our industry.”

Additionally, the WIA Board of Directors elected the following Board Officers:
- Cathy Piche, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer – Towers at Crown Castle – Chair
- Richard Rossi, Executive Vice President and President, U.S. Tower Division, American Tower – Vice Chair
- Ed Farscht, CEO, Diamond Communications – Treasurer
- Brendan Cavanagh, President and CEO, SBA Communications – Secretary
“WIA is the leading association for the wireless infrastructure industry, and I am honored to be elected as Chair of the WIA Board of Directors,” said Piche. “I look forward to working closely with my colleagues on the Board to continue advancing WIA’s critical mission to ensure fast, reliable voice and data service across the U.S.”
