Last
week, WIA President and CEO Jonathan Adelstein provided expert testimony on
Capitol Hill on how an important piece of legislation called the MOBILE NOW Act
helps the U.S. to maintain leadership in wireless through swift spectrum allocation and streamlining of
federal processes for siting of wireless infrastructure to facilitate broadband
deployment. He also highlighted the need for a properly trained 5G workforce.
The testimony took place during the Senate Subcommittee on Communications,
Technology, Innovation, and the Internet’s hearing.
