Dear Members,
As summer comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for an unbelievable 15 years of CWA. In my last letter to the association, I mentioned 11 years, but in fact I’ve had the privilege of helping to lead the CWA for 15 years. How time has flown.
During this time, we’ve hosted countless educational and networking events and made meaningful charitable contributions to the community, supporting organizations like Victory Junction, Preston’s League, The First Tee, and Toys for Tots. Most recently, when devastating storms struck the western Carolinas, CWA quickly stepped up and delivered more than 60 pallets of critical supplies for hurricane relief. The Board could not have been prouder of how our association came together so urgently to support those in need. All of this reflects CWA’s strong commitment to the Carolinas and would not have been possible without each of you.
This year proved to be a bit more challenging than expected with both our golf outing and education event having to be canceled. But despite these setbacks, we’re moving forward with renewed energy and the fresh perspectives of our new board leadership.
I’m pleased to share that all officer transitions have now taken place, with the exception of President, as I’ll be handing over the reins to Brad at the Holiday Social. We are already working closely to ensure a smooth transition. Our director transitions have also been completed, though we do still have two open director positions. If you’re interested, please reach out to Brad Little (blittle@tepgroup.net).
Our next big opportunity to connect will be the Holiday Social on December 11th at the Angus Barn Pavilion. Please mark your calendars and stay tuned for possible additional pop-up social events in Raleigh and Charlotte through the rest of the year.
As my time as President winds down, I want to wish each of you the best. Serving in this role has been a rewarding and memorable experience, and I’m grateful for the support and engagement of this community. I look forward to seeing CWA continue to grow and succeed under new leadership, advancing our mission to promote the wireless industry through education awareness and opportunity while supporting charitable efforts in the community.
Warm regards,
Danny…
