WIA Statement of Support for Rep. Lizzie Fletcher’s “Broadband Incentives for Communities Act”
“WIA strongly supports Rep. Fletcher’s Broadband Incentives for Communities Act because it builds on the longstanding and critical partnerships between local governments and wireless infrastructure companies,” said WIA President and CEO Jonathan Adelstein. “For the U.S. to win the race to 5G, it is imperative to provide local and state governments the resources and every incentive to expedite the permitting process, which this legislation does effectively. We applaud the leadership of Rep. Fletcher and her commitment to providing connectivity to all communities.”
